just got a letter from LLoyds TSB. I am quite a serious customer.
Enclosed was a gift voucher for £3.97 with which I could buy one of 6-9 shitty gifts

next letter was from MBNA with whom I spent £69 during the entire year - same stupid gift letter - £3.97 entitling me to buy same rubbish,
am I being grumpy and humbug or is this marketing at its worse?

Marketing Department Pillocks

I got the same thing as well, what a pile of pants.
So thats the best the marketing department can come up with? maybe its the results of the 70's office thing (that i never watched) /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Do what I do with all the freebies you get round xmas - send them to a childrens charity. Suddenly the pleasure they bring is all out of proportion with with the face value.
