Wow! What Service!

Many posts on service are complaints. How's this:

Yesterday (Thursday) mid-afternoon I 'phoned Tek-Tanks, http:// [url]www.tek-tanks.com [/url] at Alton in Hampshire and ordered a new fuel tank for my boat, specifying pipe connection sizes, etc. Spoke to a charming lady who took my order and called one of their technical people to the phone to answer a problem for me.

Today (Friday) there was a ring at the front door at 11:30. The tank with the specified fittings had arrived here in Falmouth! This is under 20 hours from ordering!

What a great firm to deal with.

I have been championing Tek Tanks on this forum for some time following my own good experience with a custom tank. Pity more firms are not like this one.

I fully agree. I bought a fuel tank from them last year. Excellent service. I had a small problem with it when fitting but that was sorted out on the phone by a bloke who obviously knew what he was talking about.

I was impressed by the delivery, as much as anything. Posted 5.30ish pm and arrived 8.30ish next morning.

Royal Mail or whatever it's called, I don't think that's bad by any standard.

And it wasn't a one off. A friend lived in Barnet and posted me some photos to put on a site. I was amazed when I got them the next morning as I had just telephoned at 5pm.

I ordered something by Email for Burns Night and it arrived from Scotland via Royal Mail 2 days after my order. l received the Email confirming my order the day after!
