With luck I get to agree with Jonny about ladyinbed's excellent choice of craft. Give me the summer(sorry) soggy period between the soggier periods & I'll let you know.
When will be the right time to say hang it all and scoot off to IOM for a weekend... that's more the question. TLW & I made it across to Ireland about 10 years ago, got maggoted on Guinness, turned round & came back. Since then haven't made it past Holyhead.
Small boat, cowardy custard sailors... force 6+ every time we try to GO anywhere.
Now we have new excuse... SPROGS, but hopefully a better(bigger) boat.
