Going to miss you, buddy, perhaps we need to pay a visit? are you going to be at Weymouth? As some of our IOW friends have gathered on this thread, we're taking a year off from East Cowes to concentrate on work. family, doing other things and give "Infinity" some tlc. At the moment I'm looking at 6 months ashore from April so we can work on her over the warmer months. If we get all the jobs finished, we may return to ECM in the Winter, if not, next year.
We have got some ferry tickets and a tent so no doubt we'll bump into you all from time to time

We will deffo come to Poole, be a nice day trip in the ribHi Roy we're going to miss you and all our other lovely friends and hope we don't regret our decision come Summer. But, our boat is nearly 30 years old now so is due some TLC which isn't going to happen whilst afloat with all our gear aboard. I've tried in the past to muscle up the enthusiasm to carry out some of these jobs in the Winter, only to drive down, look at them and drive back. Hopefully with warmer weather I'll find it easier to crack on.
We're looking at Poole boatyards, probably Davis as it's quite easy to get to from here. I did think about Portland, but it's just a bit too far if I want to go there and back in a day.
