Wonderwash??

I am trying to get hold of one of these, so far I can only find US sellers, Mr Google is not being very helpful, anyone have any tips on UK or European dealers.

We bought a secondhand one which was getting on in years. It had become brittle so ended up in the skip. We were not that impressed with it before it started coming apart. Saving water was the main aim of getting it and it failed on that score. Back to hand washing again now. Big bucket was 3 euros!

Ours has failed now, also due to brittleness. It has been excellent though for more than ten years. Water use for washing is very low but of course rinsing is the big consumer and that is likely to be the same whatever the method.

We'd love to fit a mangle on the pushpit to save wringing everything out and the damage that does to hands and hems, but they seem to have disappeared from the market.

there are lot sof small electric ones, AND a manual one on ebay.

Yes, we keep looking out for them at a reasonable price. If you Google 'wringer' instead of 'mangle' you may find some, usually in USA at horrendous cost.

We used ours for many years. Our director of laundry processes reckons the Wonderwash gets clothes cleaner than our all-singing and -dancing Indesit at home.
