Well, BarryD must be added to the list of things considered unlucky on board a boat. Note from his original posting that his first experience of boating was on a friend's boat which blew up WITH HIM ABOARD.

His next outing on a boat, guess what? It blows up.

I reckon it blew up cos its a petrol. If it had been a nice twin diesel Fairline Mirage 'twould have been a different story. Guess who's got one of those for sale?

Anyway, I am most sorry about this, but you were warned, Barry. Most of us were warning you that praps diesels would be better for other reasons...or so it seemed (sfx: spooky music) when al the time we were we trying to keep you clear of being accused of being a witch! (sfx: shriek cackle cackle, mad screams, screechy violins, closeup camera of wurrid Barry checking backs of hands for excess hairiness...)

As you can see, quite a bit of work to be done on this forum software. And have you noticed how that word "multimedia" has gone the same way as "robot" ?
