Just had the ok from the misses but there's a catch.... the result being I doubt either of us will be drinking /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Jez, I had planned to come to the next Wheelwrights "do", but I am off down to Devon the next day to complete the deal on the new(ish) toy. He is sworn to secrecy, but RogerRat has some info as does Chas25. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Think I need a clear head on the Friday, so I will have to pass on this one.

Roll on May!

Yes & yes - all welcome /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I may even cycle myself (only if its good weather mind!)

Rick

Yes, we went past Mercury and saw a fairly tired and scruffy T51! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Only kidding Mike, she looked all up and shiny as we meandered by. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

See you Thursdy! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

btw, I could tell you all about Pinnacle's new boat but then I'd have to shoot you and that would be the end of the Wokingham meet. So don't ask! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Will check with SWMBO. Have wanted to try & make a meet & confirm that you really are friendly to raggies.

Not wanting to push it but would being a raggie & wearing motocycle gear lower the tone a bit?

I can see where pub is but whats the best way to get there. I commute home Slough - M4 - Jct11 - A33 - M3 to Southampton. Cant see obvious junction apart from jumping off the bridge on the A329(M)

Ok, well if you are going to do some evilkinevil style bike tricks we'll all watch you arrive! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Best way is get off the A392M after the M4 heading towards Reading and backtrack to sainsbury.

Someone else will give you better directions because I always get lost - which RogerRat will no doubt confirm.

I think you will find that the Landlord would object to all the blood that would leave on the carpet....... so best not, eh.

ps it's being delivered by road to Hamble on Thurs next week - assuming all goes well on Saturday!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

M4 Junc 10 (A329M) heading for Reading. Get off at Winnersh Triangle and head for A329 and turn towards Wokingham. At the next Big junction, turn left (X roads with traffic lights, and Sainsburys ahead & to the right)
Pass Winnersh r'way stn, carry on and take 1st right after road goes over M'way bridge. You will see the pub, but will you find us?? <BG>

Thanks for directions, I have enough trouble staying on without the Evilkinevil tricks.

For anyone that does not use the M4 regularly beware of the stretch between Jct 10 & 11 (A329(M) to A33) there is a 50mph speed limit enforced by average speed cameras and unmarked police cars - seen a black Vauxhall vectra? & a black Skoda Octavia vRS so far.

That's good cos I'd noted that all your avatars were mobo's and wondered what sort of welcome I might get if I turned up tomorrow night. Not met "Sailfree" yet - be good to talk as we have something in common
