Sitting watching the storm at Tollesbury marina. Very windy, a few Genoas gone and a couple of covers but everything else doing fine. High water in a couple of hours, looks like it's being held back by the SW wind. Overall not bad but the gusts are almost impossible to walk against.

Here in Ipswich it's all over the place, the flats around the marina affect the wind a lot. One second it's almost nothing, then it's 30 knots. Not seen anything above 30 knots though.

the worst seems to have passed here q0 most sourh of Cambridge. It's very strange not having to worry about one's boat.on days like today. Keep are chassis bored at home wondering shut have braied up my 6 ftigh frnce
