I heard a couple of big bangs here in Pin Mill around 3pm. They are often heard here, particularly on Mondays, is that their day for destroying old ordnance?

They're getting closer. Wivenhoe has been shaking and booming all day. Either that, or there was something very wrong with last night's meat pie.

Perhaps like the recent report on Fray Bentos, the pie had weevils in it.
