Windlass

Hi all,
Can anyone help? I recently went to the London boat show and got boat envy! Anyway we have decided in the next two years to upgrade our boat, (which will be another discussion), so in the meantime I am going to upgrade certain things on my boat, I have already purchased a new Raymarine E7D, and I am looking to add a Windlass to my boat, my boat is a Sunline 31 it is 9.5metres, and has a anchor locker just need an idea of which one to buy? and which one will fit, I know every boat is different, but wasn't sure if anyone has had any experience with this boat, or if anyone is in the Essex area that could help fit it? I already have the power cables in the locker so hopefully shouldn't be a difficult job!

Don't know but thought I would bump this. Did the manufacturer offer one as an option? You need to fit it properly as it can see significant loads.

Hiya, I can only assume the manufacturer offered at the time they built it, but they have been out of business for sometime now unfortunately.

wasnt sunline a decendant company from the workers at sealine ? if so maybe worth looking at similar sized sealines to see what was fitted as they maybe very similar specification

I recently installed a Lofrans X2 Project 1000 on my 10M boat. Delighted with it. Easy install. Has liberated me to anchor more. It is a relatively slimline model that will fit into a modest anchor locker. Worth a look.
