Windlass Issue

Last week, the windlass was working. Without going into a long, long explanation, I removed it and replaced it again yesterday. Now it won't work. All I get when I press either the up or down button, is a single click. I've checked the circuit breaker and that is ok.

Any ideas welcome. Thank you.

By the way, it's a Lofrans and I've down loaded the manual and checked the wiring diagram, and it looks like I managed to get the correct wires back in the correct place.

EDIT: I've just checked again, it's only the down button that clicks once when you press it. The up button does nothing.

Is the battery ok and check the connections - especially the ones you 'worked' on.

Battery is reading 12.8 volts.
I've cleaned the connections and checked they are tight.

Found the issue - the circuit breaker has had better days. Off to buy a new circuit breaker.
