I use said item for the windlass to great effect. I was wondering if anyone has used it on a bow-thruster setup as the L/R control buttons our ours are not easy to reach (in a hurry!!).

I have a Sidepower remote that has both windlass and bow thruster on the same control head. Very useful.

I've used a cheap remote from eBay for my thruster. I went for one with a small keyfob control as it has side-by-side buttons which are more intuitive to use. Well worth a fiver!

Yes, handy to have if you're on your own or with only 1 other when mooring a fairly large motorboat. Comes into its own when you want to just tighten the ropes up a little
