Will Rocna fit a Berwick bow?

Bow arrangement should be the same - the Berwick is the bilge keel version of the Longbow. I am a member of WOA and asked the same question on the WOA forum in December but had no replies......

The differences in the bow arrangement lies in the ketch versions where the bow roller is on the end of a short bowsprit. Rocna would probably still foul a reefing drum but be well clear of the hull.

The Berwick I sailed was a sloop but for reasons unknown it also had the bowsprit ( Puzzle because it was originally Westerly's demonstrator)

OK, for clarity I can state that the Rocna does not fit the sloop rig version of the Berwick or Longbow!

You could try getting an extension to the bow roller made up. I did this on mine (not a westerly) to prevent the anchor pecking at the bow. In very simple terms it's a 'U' channel that sits inside the existing roller fitting. It uses existing bolt holes to attach. It moves my anchor forward by about 6 inches and has been very successful.
