Will my mast fall off?

You are quite right to worry and its not unfounded.
However it depends which mast is truly worrying you.
If its the main mast then you can rest assured it will always be there, steady as a rock and ready for long service.
If its the mizzen the it must be treated with great care and delicacy as it suffers with an inferiority complex, mostly due to size.
So beware, it could toss itself off the boat if you were to look at it wrongly.:)

These blokes came in last summer escorted by the all weather lifeboat, minus mast, rigging and sails. I asked the skipper what happened and he said "it just fell off".

Well, its a question of perception really. If you are not there then it's not happened; ergo there is no need to worry about it happening.

I some times worry.Am I paranoid?

You try buying a boat when all the reviews go something like this:
"....the rig with ....... to be very unforgiving, was on one boat that lost one and seen 2 others do the same" basicaly if you read about the boat they all say the mast WILL fall out of her...

The only information I got about the boat before buying is the mast will fall out of her... I should be paranoid...

No, you are not paranoid. You might be depressed if your worrying about dismasting was disproportionate, but you are probably not.

If, on the other hand, you were to worry without reasonable cause that someone might deliberately damage your mast, you might be paranoid.

That is very, very tidy, if a little OTT on the fender front.
