Do not update your wiley almanac

WAS very useful, complemented a paper version
I just tried to open the prog but it said there was a new version (2.0 replacing 1.2), I clicked "update" and now I cannot get any further than a screen telling me how to delete the file.
So if it asks to update, dont!

Got my Mac to restore old version and it works fine now, but just say NO to update 2.0 when asked as prog opens

I doubt it, to be honest. I have some friends and ex colleagues who work at Wiley and none of them have the faintest idea how it was ever supposed to make money. Advertising, I guess, and possibly pulling business into the website to buy other Wiley Nautical stuff, but evidently it hasn't worked. A shame, because the investment must have been quite substantial.

Haydn: I think it only covered the South Coast - yet another reason why you should never have headed oop north.
