Try Crewseekers. Ronhilda has had many excellent crew over the years from them, with only 2 i would not invite again.
Its a good feeling when you see someone really get get the sailing bug and progress to own their own boats, at least 3 have gone this way.
Re your wife, suggest its early days for you, do not rush, but take time out before making hasty decisions.

thanks for the suggestion of crewseekers - I never thought of them. Of course, my wife (who was good crew) was used to my habits and manly noises and I might feel inhibited with strangers on board! It is early days as you say, and i'm taking it one at a time. Just watched the Peter Kay - great to have a belly laugh.
