I used to have a similar problem although not quite to the extent you described. She wouldn't go out much on my first boat (16ft Speedboat), so upgraded to something bigger and over the last 10years (of getting used to it) she is now happy to go out everytime even in a F7. The only problem she has is going below when moving along - that can sometimes trigger sea sickness, however in the cockpit no problem. Back in the marina she is okay to be down below.

Don't you start! Its been hard enough trying to sort out Mr Steadman - he's a typical programmer, wants everything specified to the last bit of diced carrot and pea - upwind -downwind -who cares?
I am sorry but I have no pictures of such an event as it has never really seemed sporting to capture on film an individual feeling like dying.
Anyway you don't need it, my flashing keyboard has painted a perfect pen picture in my usual glowing prose!.
