Normal track head past Cowes on port, then sharp to starboard up towards Calshot. But turned a couple hundred yards early. Can't see why a Jammed rubber would turn early?

Think of yourself steering round a sharp bend in a river 20 helm start the swing reduce to 10 degrees once started.... What happens if you cannot go back to 10?

If you zoom your track out you will see that she went well past Cowes before commencing the turn but then failed to straighten up.

Looks to me like either a jammed rudder as it turned to Starboard or the wheel was left on for too long and not adequately corrected.
