Why do I have to keep logging in?

When I am using my iPad on this particular forum and I want to post a reply I have to log in but then when I Go to submit it I have to log in again, if I then read another topic and look at the top it says that I am logged in but as soon as I want to reply I have to log in again, and again and again, any one got any ideas?

Btw how do you post smilies on this forum, it can help a lot with how a post is read?

You have to click the 'remember me' box next to your log in.

For smilies you need to be in the 'standard editor' rather than the 'basic editor'

Go to the user CP top left.
Under setting and options, click edit options
scroll down to misc options
Under message editor interface, change from basic to standard.

You will then have smilies next to the message box when you type.

Possibly a setting on your PC then. Maybe you have told it not to remember passwords or delete cookies etc etc. You are now in territory unknown to me

Depends on your browser, look in Tools > internet options on IE, for Firefox it's Tools > options

Also make sue in windows there is no tick in the delete on exit section. Click the cog top right in explorer then options the box is there. If you don't want swmbo to know what you been up to put a tick in here. If not leave it out, it clears your history on exit Inc passwords
