My wife helms a lot of the time, has her DS + ICC, indeed did the majority of the helm work on last summer's cruise, leaving me to make tea, amuse the children, sort out snacks and loaf in a corner of the bridge with a good book. I also got to play with the charts and associated nav tools to my heart's content. While I accept that keeping a running EP every hour between Ramsgate and Burnham is a bit petty when in company and wiht numerous electronic navaids I think its fun, so there
