Thanks for that Brendan. It prompted me to look for some other sites too - for the 2003 IOW the only names I recognised on the board were Bryan and Iggy. I must be getting too old!

I'm going to get some strange looks for this, but I did nearly every festival in Britain from 1982 ish for a few years, not to listen to the music, but as part of Festival Samaritans.

Apart from that, I have some wonderful music stories. In about 1981, went to a Kings College Xmas concert by Wizzard with Roy Hudd. Almost no one there. Wizzard came on stage and Ray said something along the line of 'usuallly with this number of people we'd just go home, but lets have a f**king brilliant evening, and you can tell everyone they should have been here'

It was like a house party, with members of the band handing guitars, drums, to anyone who could play, then going for a round, and vice versa. Been to many wonderful concerts, but this is the one I remember.
