Portishead last night, Bristol Docks over the weekend. It keeps the girlfriend happy and as there is no wind it is an interesting place to hang out.

Gordon's Bay in South Africa, sold the RIB this morning and proceeding along the coast to Hermanus tomorrow... by car, yes :-(

On our mooring at swanwick , we have just watched the fireworks , absolutely great and the best action was at our end of the marina, glad we watched from the bridge, the kahlberg horns on the big princess were of course the loudest out there , but then again its the biggest boat in swanwick.

Stood on our wheelhouse with my daughter watching the fireworks, great show!

Was not aware that tonight was Cowes Carnival night......................just watched the procession.............verdict.........bloody good!!!!.............whole town is packed..........superb new bar..... "Barties"........appeals to the more "mature" person..............think .......Mardi Gras, New Orleans...........great addition!!

Weather forecast led us to Dropping into Cowes on Friday. Low viz, tied up at Town Quay, so choppy there we had our pic-nic sitting on a bench at Harbour Office. Choppy ride back but good to be out!!

Out tomorrow but only to anchor for the day and let the family go swimming and play with the kayak. Still, looks like a nice day so hoping East Head isn't too busy.

Got a glimpse of sunshine Sunday afternoon so nipped over to Wooton Creek and spent a couple if hours in the Fishbourne Inn and nipped back again. Pretty flat both ways, good to be out!!
