Who's planning on being on the water over xmas?

I'll be out on the 27th with a bunch of pals and I'd like to be out on New Year's Day too but can't find any other hungover fools wanting to join me! Anyone want to come out to play for a bit?

There is a three or four boat flotilla for New Years Day out of Bridgemarsh.

We are resident now until end of Boxing Day, then back on boat New years day, going to Rochford on the 2nd.

We are now prepared!

Paella tonight,

Full Circle, that's real Christmas spirit!

I'll be out on the Deben over Christmas, looking forward it.....it's not even cold at the moment!

Have a fantastic time and Merry Christmas!

Hoping for a Boxing Day sail but the forecast isn't good. Very windy here at the moment but not too cold :)

Working tonight - 8 hours of boredom on my own locked in to the store with hardly any customers if previous years are anything to go by

Still, looking on the bright side I reckon tonight should pay for a new mainsheet setup :)

We did manage to get out as planned.

Great weather with just enough wind to move the boat forward. Practically had the river to ourselves until we got to Maldon and accidently bumped into the Little Ships Club charity rowing boat race.

.....and went out today as well,

Blackwater even emptier.

Stayed warm and dry by putting on ski gear under sailing gear.

Little wind, despite forecast calling for 4 or 5 occ 6.

We went for a blast to the Woodbridge Haven and back, the wind was a good 3 to 4 and yet again nothing like as strong the inshore forecast would have you belive.

Some of the best sails this year have been when many others have been on the hardstanding.
