Who's in Salerno marina d'Arechi tomorrow?

we changed to private Belgium registration 2,5Y ago, was much more easy in Croatia.
Yep, I can see why.
B registration is indeed straightforward and simple, and now that it can be used also by private individuals within the EU with no need to be B resident nor citizen, it's becoming very popular also down here (as well as NL).

I would tell you how I know that, if it weren't that I'd rather not mention it here in the asylum...! :p

remember I mentioned before about rotten patches of the wooden gunwale,
(moisture inside / lack of ventilation)
we repaired some of it, but now we want to do that thorrowly,
more (old) info about that in the BA rebuild threat, but unfortunately that is without pics at the moment

and at the same occasion replace the plywood deck, and place new teac on top,
so quite a big job,

Ah yes of course, I remember that well.
I thought for a moment I had missed out on some exciting drama ;)

Good morning/evening skipper.....have you folks departed Venezia yet?

Yes, we ve seen a few boats like yours, was the original yard from this region?

But its crowded here with Itama's and Aprea mare's in all flavours and sizes.
In one way or the other, these boats perfectly fit the scenery,
Now I know where Portofino's got his adoration from :)

:encouragement:
Yup it's Itama city the great and the good in Italy all have one. Along with a few not so good in that part of southern Italy .
A lot of them go in a hanger over the winter and only see water for 2-3 months
On the subject of diesel when I filled mine up by small bowser that came to the jetty with a long hose.
I was offered ( did not ask ) two prices the " White price " with a receipt for € 1.7 or the " black price " cash for €1
Topped up with 2000 + L

ApreaMare ship yard is S Naples .Bart it has its own private marina - full yard facilities
Worth a visit - owner occupier they do all sorts of refit work .

Also the ladies in the office are " Nice people " to deal with similar to fuel guy if you know what I mean .

nice office lady's is alway's a big bonus,
and imagine what happens when I bring them Belgium shocolates ;-)

Well, if you would choose to go that route, we will be able to arrange some joint cruises at 2 digits speed, for a change...!
and that at the moment when we are getting used to slow speed cruising , on the edge of 2 digit speed (10kn)
while I guess that you have now waving hair speeds in mind with your neath machine :D

Sorry to have missed all this, haven't been on here for about a week as have been cruising round Naples, Procida, Ischia, Capri and Ponza with a full vessel! Am back in Marina D'Arechi now and around all day tomorrow, flying back to London on Monday then back here again in a couple of week's time. MAFWeiss has helped lots with marinas, anchorages, restaurants and I now have some first hand knowledge too! Are you still around Bart?
