After a cracker last weekend in the glorious sun, this weekends forecast isn't looking so inspiring. Beginning to think we might knock it on the head and go down the following weekend instead.

Whats everyone up to for the bank holiday?? Any exotic locations?? I'm hoping for the Med crew to make us jealous!!

Bit of an MM cruise in co starting sunday for me. A blast and pootle along to Brixham, take in a bit of Dartmouth, stopping along the way and back. Love the W.Country but tbh, I don't care where the cruise takes us, it's five days of pure bliss with some really great company. It's gonna be a good laugh and I can't wait :D :D

Well, no Med for me but, I am heading from Chichester to Cowes on Saturday morning. staying there for day and evening drinks. Sunday the plan is to head for Lymington for the first time. Will also be the furthest I have been away from my home marina (it is my first boat after all). Staying there overnight. Monday heading back to Chichester, with a stop off for lunch in Gosport or Port Solent, undecided yet.

Will be my longest trip on board. Weather should be ok, might be a little bumpy on Saturday am, but should be ok.... :)

After last weekend & the week before which were lovely, this one is looking a bit iffy, so it's a weekend at home. Off to the pub in shortly, not so bad after all.

Well, left Chichester at 11 this morning. The bar was a bit unpleasant but after that the sea was lovely. Sitting in East Cowes Marina bathed in sunshine. Great journey, got a wet face twice but great. Was prepared to turn round if rough' so glad I went to see the actual weather :)

No Illusion made a late decision yesterday to scoot across to Cowes from Beaulieu (8.30pm). Sea was as flat as you know what. Cowes Yacht Haven had space, moored up by 9.20pm and in The Anchor 10 minutes later!!. Gave the Spitfire beer pump a real good testing and crawled back onboard about 1.00am..........leathered!!!. Woke up (with a fuzzy head!)to an eerily quiet Medina and sprinted back to Beaulieu at 25 knots in good conditions..........Beaulieu is busy with visitors now. Looking to do either Yarmouth or Cowes tomorrow.

Sitting, watching the sun set across the harbour, yes.
But tomorrow looks to be wet and F6 = duvet day.

Let's see if Sunday is boatable.
Apart from the last couple of hours of light rain it was mostly sunny and F2-3 in the west Solent today. Glad we ventured out. Put my foulies on for no reason this morning - not a drop of rain.

Tomorrow forecast sunny and F2-3 so I am looking forward to the easterly gale en route to ECM from Yarmouth !
