Whoops - Oyster scrapes A14 Bridge

Erm, we all have some access to Companies House and a quick look there tells me that Richard Mathews ceased to be a director of Oyster Marine Limited on 21/12/2008

Sorry but I am very busy at the moment but look at Oyster Properties and compare the directors or better still just look at Richard Burnell Mathews (sp).

Sorry, but i don't know why you think i have time on my hands to do that. The point in question was whether RM had or had not sold Oyster Marine, according to Companies House, he ceased to be a director on 21/12/2008

He may well be a director/owner of any amount of other companies, but of Oyster Marine he seems not to be. In fact, Oyster Marine consists of at least three limited companies, none of which have RM as a director.

On the other hand, you most likely find that the operation at The Strand also consists of several Ltd companies. Some will have RM as director/owner, others will not. Some will not be clearly visible. If one part of the enterprise suffers catastrophic failure it doesn't take everything down with it, least of all anyone personally. Shrewd and prudent asset protection.
