Whoo`s going to Oostende vor Anker then

Yes Im in Rambo now, Calais tomorrow, then Dunkirk, hoping for Weds. Only one day later than planned, due to being neaped in mud by accident.Lucky to be hauled off by a kindly tug thanks to Danny at hollowshore top geyser. Might consider missing out Dunkirk, but wind over tide slows her too much in this wind direction. I will if it goes SW tomorrow night.. I am the muddy person on the beaten up Hurley if you see one, say hello cheers Jerry.

Allah willing we will arrive 19.00z Thursday

JB will be there as i have to rtn a crate of MT Duval bottles

Planning to go (there Thu - back Sun) but keeping an eye on the weather.
Looks like it's going to be blustery - but then again, forecasters seem to be unable to make their mind up.
Two days ago it looked like we'd be motoring.
Don't expect to make the final call before Tue evening.

We're planning to go Thursday - currently looking at north westerlies - in which case a good 5/6 won't go amiss. Don't think there's enough to cause it to lump-up in the preceding days ... do you?

fingers X

Anyone caught praying to the weather gods for rain or high winds is liable to the curse of a thousand needles enema. Have some beers ready for our arrival old chep, think we've earned a break and someone else pouring the pints.
Oops, they only do baby measures over there, oh well, just means more frequent top ups

Glad I'm not going with that forecast. Hope it will be better Wednesday week when I cross.

Jury's still out - other half is giving me 'funny' looks (and I think she has a point).
With the wind right up the chuff we tend to roll quite a bit and she's not looking forward to 12 hours with her head down a bucket.
Also to consider: a brisk NW blows straight into Ostend harbour. This can make the Montgomery dock somewhat 'uncomfortable' (understatement).
It would seem that the centre of a low would be sitting over Belgium when we're there, so what I'm really hoping for is for the wind to veer N or back W.
We'll see. Decision time is Tuesday evening.

Friday looks a bit better than Thursday unless I'm mistaken, be about right though, sometimes think there's someone up there watching plans, who just loves throwing curve balls

I've decided! I'm not going .. too cold and too much potential for marital discord
We'll poodle about locally
