We are if the weather is kind enough. Will be leaving through Needles channel about 2000 Thursday evening, arriving St Vaast at breakfast time on Friday.

How about you?

No mate, I said in an earlier post that we would be leaving the Solent via Bembridge, but having investigated further we are now planning on heading West.

we are planning Thurs night or early Fri. Tome indicated he was up for it too if his bbob tube arrives in time. Good to see others wanting to extend the weekend. We will depart Haslar and go Bembridge ledge way so we can enjoy 11 hours of wind on the nose....

What are the HW times for St. Vaast on Friday and Saturday AM?

I'm crewing with Robp from Chichester (Clipper Rose)and the plan is to leave Thurday evening. Although skippers decision, the chance of a visit to M. Gosselin's emporium sounds too good to miss!

Just trying to gat a feel for others plans.
St PP - That's a good idea, we could go on there after Cherbourg (Cap de la Hague @ about 10:00 BST Sunday), as Jim Irvine and I did last year, make a real cruse of it.

You'll be the advance party. Another 5 boats 20 peeps arriving Friday am/pm, so could you stand by mobile/ch 69 during Friday am lock opening? I'll take over comms on arrival am.

Cheers
Tom

Your duties are simple:

1) Strut about the visitors moorings with a clipboard asking for pre-booking vouchers.

2) Book (or buy) the Fuschias

3) Have dram o'Glen Mangie ready for all arrivals

4) Sound sympathetic to anyone who calls you up if you can be bothered.

5) Take lines on arrival and try to attach them to something useful, eg something ashore or moreorless.

If you could strut about with a hand-held it would look very organised. Or a small fizzzy device...

Looks like the following boats (crew) arrivals for St Vaast:

Allegretto (4) Fri pm
Amaya (5) Fri am
Ayesha (5) Fri pm
Dream Dancer (3) Fri pm
Glen Rosa (3) Thu pm
Moondance (3) Fri am
Rival Spirit (2) Fri pm

Not sure if Asterie coming or going straight on to Chbg?
So a booking for 25 at the Fuschia?
