Hi,
we had an interesting day there yesterday and did in fact order a new set of sails from Banks so it was well worth going. The staff on several of the sailmakers stands did say that they have had a good show because most of their visitors did come with money to spend.
Hopefully the people that really lost out were the organisers with their farcically high admission charges, forget the advance discounts and all the rest guys, just make it a fiver on the door and the punters will turn up. Apparently they have a contract with Earls court for several years but it is hard to see most of the companies turning up again unless they address the low attendance issue. Anyone offering some courtesy tickts to Excel now?, it's going to be a challenge to get us to go otherwise
