If you can afford to keep your boat then now is not the time to sell - but for boat owners reaching the end of their fixed-rate mortgages and struggling with higher energy prices, those marina fees are looking like a very obvious cost saving.Given the price of new boats the price of used boats should be supported. The economy feels awful but you sell your boat at your peril.
I guess that for a lot of boat owners their boat is part of who they are; whereas a car is just a means of getting from A to B.…If a car is redundant, its on the market, why do folks hang on to boats until the absolute bitter end![]()
