No mention of Oxalic I see..... Too strong, or just no good for the job?
Ah, I'm GUESSING then, that's why when I mixed a saturated solution in warm water, that a lot of it recrystallized as the water cooled? Amazing wot one can learn in here!
A little knowledge really is dangerous;-)
Oxalic acid is more soluble in warm water than cold. If you made it saturated when warm some will recrystallise as it cools.
