Definitely Danboline.
Seriosuly? People advocate doing 'most of the interior' with bilge paint?
Yes it will stick, but it will look shit.

Some expensive solutions for what could be done relatively cheaply.Whats wrong with a tin of white water based paint from Aldi.

Why would shiny white paint look shit? Danboline appears to have a more opaque colour than many others I have tried. You may well get by with a single coat.
Have you used it?
Limited colours
Red or Grey
Blakes do a white
I await seeing the results in a Classic Boat centrefold....
You'll probably get better adhesion to old paint (wirebrush off all loose stuff) with Danboline or similar roduct than with gelcoat. Danboline is very "sticky" on poor surfaces. How about brushing polyester gelcoat? e.g. http://www.mbfg.co.uk/white-gelcoat.html
