Hi all, i have a old 3 meter inflatable Avon and want to what size outboard to put on it.I'm not sure of the model but it does have a wooden transom.

I suspect a non-airfloor version would be OK WITH 4HP; with an air or solid floor probably up to 10HP if you want to go fast...

If you are using it as a tender to a yacht, then keep the engine size down, as lifting it to and from the yacth will be awkward if too large.
A 2.2hp will be fairly easy to lift. I would think a 10hp would be very difficult.
