Which Oxalic Acid to buy

We have a number of members who don’t visit often and it then needs probably a second session, still seems to work on our Humber mud, our mud seems to be more silt than sand so I don’t know if that makes a difference

Not so much the mud / sand ... probably worst is the minerals carried and what their action is on the hull.

I know that on one drying mooring - my boat stayed relatively clean - reckon the sandy stony bottom stirred up with tide movement scoured the hull each rise and fall.
But next berth when in a marina of mud ... boat came out looking like candidate for Kew Gardens !! with stains round the waterline / above.

Out here in fresh / brackish water - same boat gets brown staining at waterline and you can follow the bow wave stain as well ... takes strong mix to get rid of it. 2 - 3 months after in water again - its back.

it also left white streaks when i used it afterwards down the
does it whiten the deck also in your experience?

cheers for the replys everybody!
where it leaked down the side of my hull it left white streaks on the blue paintwork on my hull. I need to see if it will remove if i can get to washing it away.

When oxalic got a bit pricey down my neck of the woods I tried something called 'grunt' on the advice of one of the boat yard Wallas. It works really well on my white hull when it turns yellow, a bit pricey tho
