Atlantic, Pacific and Indian. Where does the Arctic begin? Does swimming in the sea in Iceland count?

No..... It's one of the seven seas surely?

What are the seven seas? (From some web site)

To the ancients, "seven" often meant "many," and before the fifteenth century, the many seas of the world were:

the Red Sea
the Mediterranean Sea
the Persian Gulf
the Black Sea
the Adriatic Sea
the Caspian Sea
the Indian Ocean

Today, the world ocean is generally divided into four main oceans:

the Arctic Ocean
the Atlantic Ocean
the Indian Ocean
the Pacific Ocean

In addition, there are numerous smaller seas and gulfs.

Das Boot's comment on mastering the Horn prompts me to mention a friend and son sailed around Cape Horn in the just gone summer season (actually Feb I think they went around, emailing us updates all the way) and then up into Argentina. Wife flew out later to join them and then decided that she would like to sail around the Horn too, so down they went and did it again (East to West that time).
