Which new instrument system, B&G Triton or Raymarine?

Another vote for the Zeus/Triton from B&G. Excellent kit and the tacking laylines are excellent. I was persuaded down to three Tritons and that's plenty as you can set each one up to scroll key information too. A word of warning that's not in the manual though. In the summer we got back to our boat in Croatia and although all the B&G components worked they would not talk to each other. Reading the manuals and pressing buttons did not help and a local electrician was convinced we had been subject to a lightning strike. A call to B&G UK sorted it out by suggesting I unplugged the depth and wind sensors and checking if the network then worked. It did. Plugging them in one by one we found it was a faulty wind sensor that was overloading the network with 'bad data' so the network just stopped talking and listening. The wind sensor was replaced under warranty but the manual should point this out fault as it's not uncommon to lose a masthead wind sensor.
