Which new inflatable dinghy?

We have a 3D with inflatable v floor but it's only when I used my ePropulsion Spirit on a mates rigid small boat I realised how much drag there is with a pure inflatable.

Now considering the AB rib but they are 4x the price although I'm looking forward to being wrapped up in the luxury of trust

We have the Seago 2.7 airdeck, 7 years old, good price, and good quality. It ticks all your requirements from what I can see.

As long as material is hypalon would be my first concern.

Two Avons of different of sizes and they have proved very stable and tougher than old boots.

I'm keeping my Redcrest going as long as I reasonably can.

I have the redcrest and the larger version with 3 piece floorboards. I don’t know what is called and a 4 minute search proved fruitless. Still in original bag.

Both are old but like new except for the yellow rubbing strake a bit faded and the rope around the side a bit stiff and sctratchy.

The hypalon is like new. Valves are excellent.

Stability is great.

I washed mine with Polymarine stuff and then polished with Polymarine stuff - probably not necessary and probably wasted money because hypalon seems indestructible.

Where are you planning to sail? It’s a completely different ballgame if you’re just hopping around Europe versus crossing over to the Caribbean.

Our Quicksilver air deck has been going strong since we bought our first boat in 2001 but. It’s kept deflated in locker. If I was buying again a Highfield or AB seem robust . Ideally a folding aluminium floor might be worth considering but I guess it depends on if you have davits or some form of foredeck storage position.

the you don't need hypalon. You can go for a cheaper material.
