Having just bought a new iPad, I need a good case. Our work iPads use a Griffin Survivor case which are good but a little chunky and only light splash proof. Is there a case that can take a charging lead and protect against the odd green one?
Would rather not spend £150 on a Lifeproof case though.
Thanks

I'm afraid the only case I trust after 5 years of using an iPad as a chart plotter is the life proof one.
It's a small cost to pay compared to replacing the iPad I feel.

Another vote for Life Proof case, simply the best option bar non.

I looked at the hard cases but they are bulky and expensive. We opted for one of the £20 soft cases with a sealing bar at the top which I picked up at a boat show a few years back. Quick and simple to use and works. Also it floats!

It wasn't Life Proof then.
The case is the slimmest and most unobtrusive case I’ve ever had. Yes it’s pricey, but so is the iPad Pro.
Now it’s properly protected to 2m water depth for 30 mins and spends it time in a Ram mount in the cockpit regardless of weather.

I have had an Aquapac waterproof iPad case for some years. Although effective, I haven't had much occasion to use it. Something under £40 I think. It come with a shoulder strap, which is handy just as a carrying case.

It's worth watching the sale section on their website https://aquapac.net/store/ - I picked up an iPad one (fits anything about that size) for £11.

Mine is now fitted to the binnacle on the new2me boat, couldn't afford to replace the busted chart plotter with its 5" screen so decided to keep the iPad + Lifeproof case and an EBay mount.

Ignore the cold crew member (who at least is not being sick!), the iPad case fits very nicely and unobtrusively on the binnacle.
