Talk to will Hayward , I think the address is www.whayward.com or google it if it's not correct.

He deals in marine gas and has been very helpful and honest with us in the past.

No connection just a satisfied customer.

I'm advised to fit a marine gas reulator to my bottles by my insurance company.

This little video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnbpWIYKU_8 describes gasses

and the second video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnbpWIYKU_8 shows how to fit a regulator.

BUT.... which is the correct MARINE regulator for my Calor 907 bottles?

S.

oh Bu88er how do I edit the title?

This is the first time I have heard of an insurance company advising a marine regulator. It had to happen and eventually they will insist no doubt.

If you are fitting the regulator directtly to your 907 bottle then you need a Haywards GasBoat 4005 Camping Gaz regulator see http://www.whayward.com/Results.cfm?category=23&secondary=24 Or the equivalnt from another manufacturer

also the hose nozzle to attach your hose to it.

You also have the option to fit a bulkhead mounted regulator ( 4006 or equivalent) together with an adapter valve on the cylinder and a high pressure hose between them.

You can edit the title by going "advanced" but it may not change it in the index... I have an idea that's carved on a tablet of stone

Strangely, that seems to be about the only "marine" regulator for a Camping Gaz bottle. However, it's a few quid cheaper here - http://www.gasproducts.co.uk/acatalog/Sirius_Marine_Gas_Regulator_-_Campingaz.html

Well....

I started to type "you need either a Haywards .................... or a " but then I went looking for a link to what I though would follow and failed to find one! I was expecting to find a Gaslow one.

however Socal also offer a couple of Gok ones http://www.socal.co.uk/toolbox/regulators-adaptors/low-pressure/marine-regulators.html?p=2

Correction.... I should have said the surveyor mentioned it in his report to my insurance company as a 'must do'.

S.

The start of the slippery slope. Now it has been drawn to the attention of the insurance co. it can only be a question of time before it is applied to everyone.

Thereby hangs the tail. What gas qualification does he hold

He presumably has a professional qualification as a yacht surveyor. What additional "gas qualification" would he need. He is not an installer so there is no need to be Gas Safe registered,
