i currently have two cats, one for sale, they are both on a swinging mooring, Essex coast.
one is grp only, not much ventilation, and damp, you don't need a humidity meter.

the other one is some sandwich material, grp-foam/grp, a few vents and is as dry as a bone, even in this miserable wet weather.

if, when !, i buy another boat it will have to be a sandwich job again, so much more confortable, i am not sure it will need heating to avoid damp, in the winter, no mould anywhere in this 20 year old boat.
