I have just had the latest offer of 'antifoul offers' ping into my inbox...so what should I go for....do they really differ that much..?

Seajet Shogun, International Cruiser UNO, Hempel Tiger Extra all at roughly the same price...then there's International Ultra 2 or Micron Extra 2 which cost slightly more....decisions decisions...

Recent PBO test found Seajet Shogun was the best all rounder.

I would agree with Sailorman Jotun Sea Queen best antiifoul ever but shipping cost from Holland makes it a bit expensive. Could we find someone who goes to Holland a lot to get us a load? Or could we find a friendly fisherman who could order some for us?

I bought mine last year via mail order & delivered to a marina in North Holland for my collection, all quite painless & approx £70 per 5 lts delivered

Am I right in thinking that they cannot ship Seaqueen to the UK?

In any case, it having performed very well for several seasons, last season on the Crouch it was much less effective on Erbas than Cruiser Uno on our neighbours boats. Maybe it had been in the tin too long (it was the last of my stock mixed with the last of someone else's so perhaps that might account for it)

Different anti fouls seem to perform differently in different location. I have been using Seajet Shogun on my muddy drying mooring on the Medway for the past 5 years and very happy with it. I often get comments from other club members on how clean my boat comes out each Autumn. Others will probably come along with their favourite, but the PBO review did find Shogun to come out best in various locations.
It is probably worth talking to others in your own location to see what works for them.

Don't bother with EU45 - the worst A/F I've used. On The Deben at Felixstowe Ferry. Got some Jotun Seaqueen this year from ebay at £30 for 2.5litres. Was still available a couple of days ago.

Decanted into a plain tin? Can we trust it? £30 with £5 delivery seems very cheap.

Very limited colours too...!
When I bought my Seaqueen from UK agents a couple of years ago it came in a tin just like that! Suspect old UK stock being cleared out now Jotun have put the qibosh on Seaqueen in the UK! Have taken a punt; will see if it is any good in a year's time.

I suspect the Holland option is lost (please prove me wrong), this on the web site:

Jotun Seaforce antifouling is solely for use as antifouling paints on sea-going vessels used for professional or business and warships, naval auxiliary or other ships which are in use for the military task. The product is intended for professional use.
Jotun SeaQueen been replaced by Jotun Seaforce 90

The approval of the Jotun SeaQueen is over, so the Jotun Seaforce 90 (SPL) is introduced. This new self-sharpening and copper-based antifouling has the proper approval for the seagoing commercial vessels.

Since the beginning of our shop is the Jotun Seaforce antifouling one of the best selling products Marine Discounter. The Jotun Seaforce antifouling is available in 5 and 20 liter containers, the new Jotun Seaforce antifouling is also available in these packages.

Read more on steemar.com about Jotun Seaforce and SeaQueen.
Steemar BV is an official distributor of Jotun Seaforce antifouling and other Jotun Products

In connection with new legislation it is mandatory for the product to complete a Chamber of Commerce number.

The translation of the last piece is not quite correct, I suspect it is asking the purchaser to provide proof that they are trade not hobby
