Whereizit and what's going on

For a few milliseconds I thought it was Bilbo's polytunnel.

Gert big Dutch schuyt with leeboards ?

I do like the way that the oak is being pickled by soaking in seawater.

You are all correct, St Osyth it is.

Definitely a tick box East Coast sail. Water not a lot, and not about for very long. Time
to tie up, walk round the abbey and perhaps a coffee. Interesting place.

Yes. The mystery of the tied up logs. Just to the right of the logs , is a staging for sailing
barge EDME . Still engine-less I think. Apparently, they use the oak for repairs as and when required. As Sarabande mentioned, kept in salt water for reasons that wooden
shipwrights know about. I took the pictures a while ago and expect they are all used up by now.
