How strange, I quite like BoC but don't recognise that place at all
Restaurant and chandlers next to Royal Burnham Yacht Club.

Can't quite make out where it is but apparently this is somewhere on the Dengie, looks rather nice I thought
You are all extremely lucky btw no matter where you live, if only I could afford it I would move to absolutely anywhere in the area, well perhaps not Frinton
I think you are quite right. There are so many good places to live on the East Coast that you are spoilt for choice. It is only a matter of personal preference whether you prefer Maldon or Mersea, for example.
It also depends where you live as to what your viewpoint is, a grotty inner city might make you feel that all the East Coast is wonderful, while if you live somewhere spectacular it might seem mundane.
Lots of people from London like Essex and have a caravan here. Others move out permanently.
The most important thing is not to tell everyone about the East Coast so we can keep it to ourselves!
If you had your choice of E Coast locations? Ideally with reasonably priced deep water swinging moorings available nearby?
Oct to Easter - San Austin, Gran Canaria - probably without boat - well it is on the East of the Island ;-)
Easter to End Sept - Pin Mill or on boat cruising
Also need a few more ££ to make this plan work - any offers?
I would love Mersea... but there is nowhere to park our tennis court....
Are we talking about the same Mersea? I used to have a trimaran which I moored in the quarters, there were also 2 Twelve Metres in the quarters last Summer
Where did you take her ahore? Looking at the slips and yards we coudn't get anywhere near with our 22 ft beam..
