Well this is certainly a novel way to get round the £400 limit, from the man who makes a point at every opportunity of telling all exactly what every boat on the planet is worth whether they are buying or selling.

Magic beans you say....
Maybe I am looking at the wrong engine, but when I looked this up last week, 2+4 stroke were almost the same weight at around 36kg so I wondered why someone would pay up for the 2 stroke?Engine alone must be worth £850 on a bad day, possibly closer to £1000. Last of the 2 strokes and fairly rare. Very desirable. If she has a remotes and steering, 100% worth min £1500, in my opinion. Try finding a late 2 stroke model (in good nick) 6 or 8hp even, for less than £700, never mind a 9.9. Nearly half the weight of the newer 4 strokes.
