Seeking forehatch sealing strip
I’m having a refurb of windows this year. First, I used Scapa tape to reseal the cabin windows, following the excellent instructions provided by Hadlow Marine. Then I had new a new two-part washboard made by Alda Plastics in Chandlers Ford. During the first trip with the new washboards I thought SWMBO had forgotten to put the washboards in overnight, but no - the old washboards were crazed and the new set were so clear and a perfect fit.
Now it is time for the forehatch. I have removed the old hatch and it is booked in for replacement of the acrylic. I suspect the old sealing rubber is not going to transfer well to the new acrylic.
Where might I be able to purchase forehatch sealing strip, preferably somewhere south in Hampshire?
The window was made by Moonlight, since taken over by Houdini. I believe it is the Lowline model.
If I can get a new seal locally and quickly (thunderstorms are coming just after I collect) then of course that will be great. Meanwhile I called Houdini, who were super helpful as usual, and they are checking stock. .
Thanks for all advice.
