where to buy bus tickets from Athens to Levkas?

Can you but these at a travel agents and can they be bought in advance?

or stay in piraeus overnight and taxi to bus station about 10 euro. there is also 420 bus piraeus to bus station but its difficult to recognise stop which is just after bus station

We alway just got them from the bus station in Athens , we never had a problem and so far we have never seen the bus full . I think last time we paid 35 euros in Feb , you can buy them in advance only problem we found in Lefkas they will only take cash , so you still got to go to the station . Athens may or may not be the same

OK, lets try it another way, get the bus from the airport to the KTEL bus station in Athens, chill out, if the KTEL bus is full, catch the next bus to Patra, then another bus to Lefkas from Patra, there are many, it really is no big deal. Remember to look at your seat number on the bus, and sit in it, throw someone in your seat out, when the bus stops for a brew and a cig break, you will know you have your seat when you get back on!

You buy them in the bus station, in a small office where the Lefkas bus leaves from, about 35 euro. its nearly a 6 hour run, they stop halfway for 20 mins.
