Not Watchet the top of the gate is too close to the top of the wall.

Watchet gate closed at Low water

A complete guess as I have never sailed there but is it Burry Port?

Pembroke....? Yup, it sure is... it's the ram that opens the half tide flappy thing into the moat outside Pembroke castle... well done that man :-) I knew it was too easy... Ha ha... now don't forget to set us one... Tony.

Tony,

Have you been up the river to Pembroke? I fancy doing it in Ishtar. She draws 1.4m. What do I need to do, tidewise to get up there for a night, what is teh mooring situation etc?

Cheers.

Martin

Our boat is moored just up river at Llangwm. Been past Lawrenny many times in the past few weeks. We did go in to get fuel once, but the fuel pontoon was very shallow, and I couldn't work out how to tie up onto those ropes hanging down. Running like a train as well!.

I'm going to find a picture of a single bolt now, just to get Barebones back.........

Off down West in a bit - Going to launch my Rib. Had her for 2 years, but she's never been in the water. Been sailing on the odd occasion......

Decided to call her Quo Vadis.

Ah, used to dive there, until we discovered the sewage outlet in the middle of the cove. Shame as the water was nice and clear though the concern is not the dirt you can see, but the stuff you can't.
Always got an interesting visual effect where the fresh water from the stream met the salt water.
