Where is Mercruiser Paul

I am quite new to this forum and am constantly impressed by the work of Volvo Paul. I hope he never wants to retire for the good of all you Volvo owners !

Being a Mercruiser owner I was hoping that somewhere there is a similar person to Paul but for Mercruiser

Am I just living in blind hope or does such a person exist

I have a fair bit of experience being a Mercruiser/Mercury/Volvo engineer and only run Merc V 8's myself. I will help if I can.

We have Tom but he doesn't post or look on here much.
We also have Latestarter he is a proper engine God who knows much technical info.

Thanks chaps. I have not got a problem at the moment but was just interested who is about. My next boat after I have retired (so will be somewhat skint) will most likely have a Mercruiser 4 Ltr plus in her so would want to work on her myself with some advice from here.

VolvoPaul, Spannerman, and Mercuryman are all very knowledgeable on these engines, and very generous with their experience. Always happy to help us boaters.

Hi All...Would just like to add X10million to the line "very generous with their experience" as Volvopaul has just been MOST HELPFULL AND INFORMATIVE with a trim ram flexipipe prob on my dpe drive...job now done by mate and yours truly saving 20yrs mortgage payments having been advised by Volvo agent "its an engine out job"...job done at home with skinny assistant and millions of F,words, engine in situe, all because Volovopaul said it can be done.............(BEWARNED...its an absolute shyte of a job) BIG THANKS VOLVOPAUL .......
