I was there in 2006, and this was the completion of the first stage (EU assisted) of the 'marina'. There wasn't too many spaces left to put pontoons, which of course all dry out, but with mud 10 feet deep, it does not matter what draft you have or what keel arrangement.

Our visit was 1995. Everything was shut! We just remained afloat at what I guess now would be the far end of the marina. I did wonder about anchoring around that sandy bit by the two villages at the entrance and then taking the ground.
