I/we have sailed the "east " coast for more years than I care to remember, but there a a couple of places I haven't visited for one reason or another , I'm just wondering about other sailors/ families on here , where haven't you been but would like to one day
Mine are , Southwold, the rivers Ore/Alde , Wivenhoe/Rowhedge .

Hopefully we tick some off the list this year .........

We are so far strangers to the Swale beyond Queenborough. Maybe this year

We also haven't managed to avoid the, ahem, attractions of Fox's and make it all the way into Ipswich yet (I swear somebody 'round here has some devious means of diverting boats out of the main channel despite the best intentions of their skippers!)

Ah Ha & we now have a newly refurbed club house with a waterproof roof :encouragement: & a refitted galley, new caterer & menu.. All thanks to an exceptional effort from committee members.

Maldon, Wivenhoe and Southwold are on my 'to visit' list. And anchoring overnight in the Walton Backwaters is in my 'to do' list.
